Chittagong: Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma today emphasized the government's determination to advance development efforts nationwide. Speaking as the chief guest at a religious ceremony celebrating Baisakhi Purnima at the Rajban Bihar Complex building, Chakma reiterated the government's commitment to enhancing development initiatives and safeguarding the country's resources.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Chakma asserted that the government aims to transform the lives of its citizens by creating employment opportunities. The ceremony included the recitation of Tripitaka verses, alongside discussions on the life and teachings of Buddha.
Prominent monks from Rajban Bihar, including Saurajagat Bhante, Mangala Tishya, Dipavansha Bhante, Dhamanu Bhante, and Maga Layan Bhante, also addressed the gathering, enriching the event with their insights and spiritual discourse.
