Dhaka: The government has cancelled the appointment of six members of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC). The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the members affected by this decision are Professor Dr. Shahnaz Sarker, Md Munir Hossain, Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. AF Jaglul Ahmed, Dr. Md Mizanur Rahman, Sabbir Ahmad Chowdhury, and Professor Dr. Syeda Shahina Sobhan. The notification highlighted that these individuals had not yet been sworn into their positions.
The cancellation of these appointments received formal approval from the President, as stated in the notification.
