Dhaka: The government today appointed additional secretary of the Statistics and Informatics Division, SM Shakil Akhter, as the new secretary of the Fisheries and Livestock Ministry.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a statement from the Public Administration Ministry announced Akhter’s appointment, noting that his promotion from an additional secretary to a secretary in the government would be enforced with immediate effect.
