Dhaka: The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has issued a warning to the public regarding fraudulent activities related to the posting and transfer of district registrars and sub-registrars under the Directorate of Registration. The ministry has urged individuals to be cautious of any enticements or offers that may involve fraudulent intentions.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a press release signed by ministry spokesperson Dr. Md Rezaul Karim emphasized that the posting and transfer of district registrars and sub-registrars are routine operations managed by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. The ministry clarified that the process considers factors such as the applications of the registrars, the length of their service, the postings of their spouses, and any medical or other humanitarian needs, ensuring that there is no room for financial transactions in these transfers.
The ministry has strongly advised the public to be vigilant against any fraudulent offers or enticements related to these transfers. They also encouraged individuals to report any suspicious activities to the concerned police stations to prevent any fraudulent schemes from taking advantage of unsuspecting individuals.
