Dhaka: The government has called on Bangladeshi pilgrims to secure their Hajj permits exclusively through official channels. This appeal follows an advisory issued by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which emphasized the importance of adhering to the approved procedures for obtaining Hajj permits and complying with all related rules and instructions to ensure seamless service delivery.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the Saudi ministry highlighted that a Hajj visa is the only valid visa granting permission to perform the pilgrimage. The ministry stressed that the permit process must be completed through official channels, ensuring an organized journey from arrival to the completion of the rituals.
The ministry also pointed out that adherence to permit requirements enables pilgrims to fully benefit from the services provided at the holy sites. It stated that this compliance is crucial for strengthening safety through an integrated system for crowd management and organized movement.
Furthermore, the ministry warned against engaging with unofficial channels or falling for fake offers promising unauthorized permits or visas. Such actions could prevent pilgrims from performing their Hajj rituals and may lead to legal consequences.
The ministry reiterated that obtaining Hajj permits through official channels is essential for ensuring a smooth pilgrimage experience and guarantees access to services in a safe and organized environment.
