Government Initiatives to Reopen Sugar Mills in Panchagarh Underway.

Panchagarh: Adviser of Ministry of Industries Adilur Rahman Khan today announced that the government has been actively working to reopen the closed sugar mills in Panchagarh district as soon as possible. “We have already started working in this regard,” Khan stated during his visit to the closed sugar mills in the district.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, several notable figures accompanied Khan during his visit, including Sarjis Alam, coordinator of the Anti-discrimination Student Movement, Farhad Hossain Azad, central BNP’s rural development affairs secretary and BNP district unit member secretary, Jahirul Islam Kacchu, district BNP convener, and Prof Iqbal Hossain, Ameer of Jamaat Panchagarh district unit. Their presence underscores the importance of the initiative and highlights the collaborative efforts being made across different sectors to address the issue.
