Government Initiatives to Address Irregularities in State Machinery

Rajarhat:Kurigram: Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu, MP, has announced that initiatives are being undertaken to address irregularities within the state machinery, following dysfunction across various sectors over the last 17 years.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister stated that due to prolonged operational lapses, issues such as corruption and inconsistencies persist at different levels of the administration. The government is actively working to identify and resolve these issues.

The minister made these remarks while answering questions from journalists during the inauguration of the new administrative building and hall room at the Rajarhat Upazila Complex in Rajarhat upazila town.

He emphasized that the disruption of state institutions and departments has impacted various levels of administration, and that resolving the existing inconsistencies and irregularities will take time.

Focusing on Kurigram district, the minister highlighted the government's special emphasis on the socio-economic development of this area. Projects aimed at creating employment opportunities and alleviating poverty are underway.

The event was attended by officials and employees of the Upazila Parishad, as well as leaders and activists from the Kurigram district and Rajarhat upazila BNP.
