According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a letter issued by the Cabinet Division outlines several initiatives aimed at disseminating accurate and objective information to prevent rumors and misinformation.
Positive and awareness-raising content is planned to be shared through mass media and social media platforms. Additionally, the letter calls for the production of relevant content as part of a publicity campaign on television, YouTube, and other social media channels.
The newly formed 'Content Creation Board' will be responsible for supplying necessary content. The letter also highlights the need for a massive publicity campaign across print, electronic, digital, and social media platforms, focusing on Bangladesh's recent progress in the Global Terrorism Index.
The importance of providing accurate, objective, and credible information promptly to prevent propaganda, false information, and misleading content was also underscored in the letter.
