Government Ensures Accommodation for Passengers of Cancelled Middle East Flights

Dhaka: The government has announced that it will provide overnight accommodation for passengers whose flights have been cancelled due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, as confirmed by the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment. This measure aims to alleviate the inconvenience faced by travelers affected by the cancellations.



According to United News of Bangladesh, the Ministry issued a statement indicating that several flights had been cancelled, resulting in unexpected disruptions for passengers. The Ministry assured all affected passengers that they would receive overnight accommodation and advised them to contact the Expatriate Welfare Desk or Lounge for necessary assistance.



Additionally, Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad engaged with the stranded passengers at the airport, providing assurance of the government’s support during this challenging time.
