Accra:According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the government has promoted 20 non-cadre assistant secretaries to the position of senior assistant secretary (non-cadre). This decision was announced through a notification issued by the ministry of public administration.
The notification specified that the elevation of these officials is effective immediately. The promoted individuals are employed across various ministries and divisions, including government hospitals, the directorate of government transport, and the national academy for development administration.
The promoted officials are required to join the ministry of public administration as officers on special duty (senior assistant secretary, non-cadre) by submitting their joining letters to the ministry's secretary, either directly or via email. Despite their new titles, they will continue in their present roles until further notice.
