Accra:The government has promoted 11 cadre assistant secretaries to the role of senior assistant secretary. The Ministry of Public Administration announced this through a notification, stating that the promotion is effective immediately.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the promoted officials currently serve in various ministries and divisions across the government.
The notification specifies that these officials will assume the title of officers on special duty (senior assistant secretary) upon submitting their joining letters directly to the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration. Despite the promotion, they are to continue their existing responsibilities at their current workplaces until further instructions are provided.
