Government Appoints New Administrators to Enhance Zila Parishad Operations

Dhaka: The government has appointed administrators to 42 Zila Parishads across the country, as confirmed by an official notice issued on Sunday. This strategic move aims to bolster local governance and expedite developmental initiatives within district councils.



According to United News of Bangladesh, the newly appointed administrators are expected to invigorate the administrative functions of the district councils, making them more efficient and effective. The appointments include Touhidul Islam in Panchagarh, Mofazzal Hossain Dulal in Dinajpur, Saiful Islam in Rangpur, and Sohel Hosnain Kaikobad in Kurigram, among others. These administrators have been entrusted with the responsibility of steering the councils towards enhanced operational dynamics.



The decision underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening local government structures. Prof. Dr. Syed Maoinul Hasan Sadik has been appointed in Gaibandha, while Md Masud Rana Prodran will serve in Joypurhat. Other notable appointments include AKM Ahsanul Taiyab Zakir in Bogura, Harunur Rashid in Chapainawabganj, and Abu Bakar Siddique in Naogaon. Each of these appointments aims to support the councils in addressing local needs and promoting sustainable development.



The comprehensive list of appointments further includes Ershad Ali in Rajshahi, Rahim Newaz in Natore, Zabed Masud in Meherpur, and Sohrab Uddin in Kushtia, among others. The administrators are tasked with driving local projects and initiatives that will contribute to the overall growth and progress of their respective districts.
