Abu Dhabi:First paragraph begins here. The government has appointed Gias Uddin as the Prime Minister's Special Assistant with the rank of secretary on a contractual basis.
According to United News of Bangladesh, Gias Uddin will oversee the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism as well as the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
The Ministry of Public Administration released a gazette notification on Thursday regarding this appointment. It specifies that Gias Uddin must relinquish any other professional, business, or employment engagements with any government, semi-government, or private entities.
His appointment will be effective from the date of his joining and will last until the end of the Prime Minister's tenure or until the Prime Minister's satisfaction, whichever comes first. The contract will outline any additional terms and conditions of his appointment.
