Natore:A German tourist, Kirill Lander-Weber, lost his belongings to a fraudster at Natore Railway Station after traveling by train from Santahar on Wednesday.

According to United News of Bangladesh, Kirill had visited several tourist attractions in Bogura before heading to Santahar Railway Station. He then boarded the Banglabandha Express, intending to travel to India through Darshana Railway Station but disembarked at Natore Railway Station.

While waiting at the station, Kirill encountered a young man in the waiting room. The man allegedly fled with Kirill's bag, laptop, and camera, leaving the tourist distressed and in tears.

Following this incident, railway staff advised Kirill to seek help at Natore Sadar Police Station. Mansur Rahman, the officer-in-charge, stated that the incident was outside their jurisdiction. However, considering Kirill's status as a foreign tourist, the police initiated an effort to recover his belongings using information technology.
