Gazette Issued for CUCSU Election Winners

Chattogram: The Election Commission has released a gazette listing the newly elected representatives of the Chattogram University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) election 2025 at 3:15 pm today.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the gazette was endorsed by Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr. Monir Uddin, along with Election Commissioner and Member Secretary Professor Dr. A.K.M. Ariful Haque Siddiqui. The announcement confirms the candidates who have been elected to their respective positions for a one-year term, following the CUCSU constitution as ratified in decision number 25 of the 562nd Syndicate meeting of Chattogram University.

The elected representatives are as follows: Vice President (VP) Md. Ibrahim Hossain (Ibrahim Roni), General Secretary (GS) Saeed Bin Habib, Joint General Secretary (AGS) Ayubur Rahman (Tawfiq), Sports and Sports Secretary Mohammad Shawon, Joint-Sports and Sports Secretary Tamanna Mahbub Preeti, Literature, Culture and Publication Secretary Harezul Islam (Hares Matabbar), Joint-Literature, Culture and Publication Secretary Jihad Hossain (Jihad Ahnaf), Office Secretary Abdullah Al Noman, Joint-Office Secretary Jannatul Adan Nusrat, Student Welfare Affairs Secretary Nahima Akhter (Dwipa), and Joint-Student Welfare Affairs Secretary Jannatul Ferdaus Rita. Other positions include Science and Information Technology Affairs Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Research and Innovation Affairs Secretary Tanvir Anjum Shovon, Social Service and Environment Affairs Secretary Tahsina Rahman, Health Affairs Secretary Afnan Hasan Imran, and Liberation War and Democratic Movement Affairs Secretary Mr. Md. Monayem Sharif, among oth ers.

The list of executive members comprises Jannatul Ferdaus Sanjida, Adnan Sharif, Akash Das, Salman Farsi, and Md. Sohanur Rahman. The announcement event was attended by several dignitaries including Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr. Monir Uddin, Election Commissioner and Member Secretary Professor Dr. A.K.M. Ariful Haque Siddiqui, Election Commissioner Professor Dr. Mohammad Tayyab Chowdhury, and other prominent professors and officials.
