Ganosamhati Andolon Commemorates Martyred Intellectuals Day in Rangpur

Rangpur: The Rangpur district and metropolitan units of Ganosamhati Andolon (GSA) observed Martyred Intellectuals’ Day-2025 by placing wreaths at the Liberation War Memorial adjacent to Rangpur Town Hall killing ground.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rangpur district convener of GSA and its MP candidate for Rangpur-3 constituency Touhidur Rahman, district member-secretary and MP candidate for Rangpur-2 constituency Mufakhkharul Islam Moon, and metropolitan unit convener Abdul Jabbar Sarkar, along with other leaders, paid tributes to the martyred intellectuals.



During the event, GSA district convener Touhidur Rahman urged everyone to remember the martyred intellectuals who upheld the ideals of equality, human dignity, and social justice as envisioned in the Liberation War of 1971.



Joint convener of Rangpur Metropolitan GSA Shamsul Karim, joint member-secretary and general secretary of the Rangpur Tailors, Workers and Employees Union Advocate Jobaidul Islam, Sadar upazila organizers Gopal Roy Anik, Pradeep Roy, and Nimai Chandra were among those present at the programme.
