Fugitive Accused in Arms Case Arrested in Ctg

Chittagong: Police have arrested Humayun Kabir, a fugitive accused in an arms case, from the city’s Double Mooring Thana. OC Monirul Islam Bhuiyan of Raozan Police Station confirmed the arrest.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Humayun Kabir, the son of Abdur Rashid from Kochukhaine village in Noapara union of Raozan Police Station, was apprehended based on secret information. Authorities located him in the Karnaphuli Police Station area on Sunday night.



Monirul Bhuiyan stated that Humayun Kabir had been sentenced to two years in jail in connection with the arms case filed with Double Mooring Police Station. The arrested individual has been handed over to the court.
