Dhaka: The government has announced a Tk 1 per litre increase in the prices of all four types of gasoline. This change, which affects diesel, kerosene, octane, and petrol, will take effect tomorrow, as detailed in a gazette notification from the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, diesel and kerosene will now be priced at Tk 105 per litre, rising from the previous rate of Tk 104. Octane will cost Tk 126 per litre, up from Tk 125, and petrol will be available at Tk 122 per litre, compared to the earlier price of Tk 121. The Energy and Mineral Resources Division stated that the new prices have been established using an automated pricing formula, taking into account adjustments in global market prices.
