Dhaka: French Ambassador to Bangladesh Marie Masdupuy called on BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan political office here this afternoon. BNP Standing Committee and Chairperson’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, along with BNP Organizing Secretary Shama Obaid, were also in attendance.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, after the meeting, Amir Khasru informed reporters that the discussions covered extensive issues, including Bangladesh’s elections and economy. The French envoy expressed hope that the current political situation in Bangladesh would undergo positive changes soon.
