Free Wi-Fi and Telephone Services Introduced at Sylhet Osmani International Airport

Sylhet: Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) today launched free Wi-Fi and telephone services at Sylhet Osmani International Airport to enhance communication facilities for passengers. The initiative aims to improve connectivity for travelers both within Bangladesh and internationally.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was inaugurated by Chief Adviser’s Special Assistant on the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb. During his address at the event, Taiyeb stated that the introduction of these services is a significant step towards better connectivity for all passengers.



The Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology has further announced plans to expand free Wi-Fi coverage throughout the entire airport. This extension is part of the broader strategy to ensure seamless communication for travelers at the airport.



Sylhet Deputy Commissioner Md Sarwar Alam was also in attendance at the inauguration ceremony, marking a collaborative effort to enhance the airport’s facilities and services.
