Chittagong:A free medical camp was held at Nawab Faizunnesa Hall at Chittagong University to promote health awareness and provide essential medical services to female students.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the camp was organized under the slogan "Women's Health, Protection Through Awareness" by the University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) and the hall union, with the support of National Hospital and Diagnostic Limited.
Specialized doctors offered consultations and advice on various healthcare disciplines, including women's health, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, and general medicine. Distinguished attendees included Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Amin, Nawab Fayzunnesa Hall Provost Prof. Dr. S. M. Rafiqul Islam, Treasurer Prof. Shipon Hossain, and National Hospital and Diagnostic Limited Director Dr. Mohammad Abu Naser.
The camp featured specialists such as Dr. Naima Aktar, an infertility, obstetrics, and gynecology surgeon, gynecologist Dr. Sultana Rowshan, and medicine specialist Dr. Farzin Aktar. Speakers emphasized the importance of raising health awareness, timely medical advice, and open discussions about health issues to ensure a supportive educational environment.
CUCSU leaders, including Vice-President Mohammad Ibrahim Hossen Roni, General Secretary Sayed Bin Habib, and others, were also present at the event.
