Four Parliamentary Standing Committees Reconstituted by Jatiya Sangsad

Dhaka: The Jatiya Sangsad (JS) has reconstituted four parliamentary standing committees overseeing different ministries. This decision was put forward by JS Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni on behalf of the Leader of the House and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the reconstitution proposal was subsequently adopted through voice votes, with Deputy Speaker Barrister Kayser Kamal presiding over the session. The committees that have been restructured include the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, the Ministry of Industries, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
