Dhaka:Four people lost their lives in a head-on collision between an Asian University bus and an auto-rickshaw in the Diabari area of Mirpur, Dhaka, earlier today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the accident resulted in the deaths of two men and two women, with no injuries reported. The identities of the deceased are yet to be confirmed. The collision occurred at approximately 738 a.m. in Nawaberbag, Diabari, along the Mirpur embankment road under the jurisdiction of Shah Ali Police Station.
The incident was reported to the media by Talha bin Zasim, a media officer from the Fire Service and Civil Defence, via a short message. In response to the accident, a unit from Kallyanpur Fire Station was dispatched to the location to conduct rescue operations. The bodies were subsequently handed over to Sub-Inspector Ariful Islam of Shah Ali Police.
