Founding anniversary of Awami League observed in Panchagarh

The 75th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League was observed in the district town here today in a befitting manner. In observance of the day, the district Awami League arranged a discussion and Doa mahfil in front of the party office this afternoon. Former MP from Panchagarh-1 constituency and district Awami League senior vice-President Md Mojaharul Hoque Prodhan addressed the function as the chief guest. He said Awami League has glorious history as the party led all the democratic movements, including the Language movement, and the Liberation War of the country. The discussion was addressed, among others, by Zila Parished chairman Hanna Sheikh, Sadar upazila Awami League President Amirul Islam, and Advocate Sarower Hossein. Zila Awami League general secretary Anower Sadat Samrat Presided over the function. A doa mahfil was also held on the occasion.
