Fortis Football Club Secures Victory Over PWD Sports Club in Bangladesh Football League

Dhaka: Fortis Football Club beat PWD Sports Club by 2-0 goals in the last round of the first phase of the Bangladesh Football League (BFL) held at Bashundhara Kings arena in the capital today (Saturday).



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Gambian forward Pa Babou broke the deadlock by scoring the first goal for Fortis in the 43rd minute. After the breather, Nigerian forward Onyekachi Okator sealed the victory, scoring the second goal for Fortis in the 90+1st minute of the match.



With this win, Fortis Football Club jointly finished at the top of the league table with Bashundhara Kings, both collecting 18 points from nine matches. Meanwhile, PWD Sports Club remained in the relegation zone at ninth position, with their previous collection of seven points from the same number of matches.
