Dhaka:Leaders of journalists' organizations have expressed deep grief over the death of former lawmaker and BNP Commerce Affairs Secretary, Salah Uddin Ahmed. He was also an associate member of the Jatiya Press Club.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) President Obaidur Rahman Shaheen and Secretary General Mohammed Kader Gani Chowdhury, along with Jatiya Press Club President Hasan Hafiz and General Secretary Ayub Bhuiyan, and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) President Shahidul Islam and General Secretary Khurshid Alam, have conveyed their sorrow.
These leaders offered prayers for the eternal peace of his soul and extended their condolences to his grieving family. Salah Uddin Ahmed passed away at 810 pm while receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
