Manikganj: Police today arrested former District Chhatra League President Advocate Sadiqul Islam Soha from the LGED area of Manikganj town. Manikganj Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Aman Ullah said the arrest was made at noon based on a tip-off. “He will be produced before the court later today,” the OC added.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Soha had been absconding since the anti-discrimination movement. He was accused in several cases filed over attacks on student processions during the movement.
