Dhaka:The formation of governing bodies and managing committees in all private educational institutions at the secondary and higher secondary levels nationwide has been suspended until further notice.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the decision was announced in a notice issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and the Dhaka Education Board.
The suspension will remain in effect as the Regulations on the Formation of Governing Bodies and Managing Committees of Private Educational Institutions under the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education, 2026, have not yet been finalized.
