Panchagarh: State Minister for Water Resources Forhad Hossain Azad today honored the 1952 Language Movement martyrs by placing wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar in the district.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Forhad Hossain emphasized the importance of national unity while speaking to journalists, highlighting that this sense of togetherness must be sustained in the future. He further assured that the newly formed BNP government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, would prioritize national interests in all matters.
Forhad Hossain called for cooperation from all citizens, regardless of their opinions, castes, creeds, faiths, or political affiliations, to work towards building a unified Bangladesh that ensures equal rights for everyone. Earlier in the day, various political parties, as well as social, cultural, governmental, and non-governmental organizations, also paid their respects by laying wreaths at the Shaheed Minar.
