Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves reached US$35.12 billion, as reported by the latest data released by the Bangladesh Bank on Thursday. This update provides an overview of the country’s financial standing in terms of foreign currency holdings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, when calculated under the International Monetary Fund’s BPM-6 accounting method, the reserves were recorded at $30.48 billion. This adjustment reflects differing accounting methodologies that provide varying perspectives on the nation’s reserve status.
