Dhaka: Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserves have been reported at $31.09 billion, according to the latest data released by the Bangladesh Bank (BB) today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, when calculated using the International Monetary Fund (IMF) methodology under the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual (BPM6), the reserves are recorded at $26.38 billion. This discrepancy highlights the different methodologies used for calculating the forex reserves.
