Dhaka: Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves have stood at $30.31 billion.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the latest data released by the Bangladesh Bank (BB) today indicated a discrepancy when calculated using the International Monetary Fund (IMF) methodology under the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual (BPM6).

As per the IMF’s methodology, Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves stood at $25.40 billion. This difference highlights the variation in calculation methods between the national and international standards for assessing foreign reserves.
