Foreign ministry observes mourning for violence victims

The foreign ministry today observed mourning

recalling those who were killed during the quota-reform movement.

As part of the mourning, all officials and employees of the Foreign Ministry

wore black badges as a sign of respect, a foreign ministry’s press release

said here.

A special prayer and supplication session was held at the ministry’s mosque

at noon, seeking eternal peace for the souls of the deceased and speedy

recovery for the injured.

The event was attended by all staff of the ministry.

This act of remembrance highlighted the gravity of the incidents and the

ministry’s solidarity with the victims and their families.
