Siegwerk, a sixth-generation family-owned company, is one of the leading international manufacturers of printing inks, coatings and individual solutions for packaging, labels, and catalogs.

During the visit, Ashish will be meeting government officials, regulatory bodies, customers, partners and brand owners to discuss the importance of food packaging safety from an ink manufacturerโ€™s perspective and how to work towards a regulation for improving food packaging safety standards in Bangladesh, said a media release on Sunday.

With its initiative of a toluene-free ink production, Siegwerk Bangladesh aims to create a nationwide ink safety scenario – especially highlighting the negative health impact of using toxic ingredients in printing inks and other unsafe elements in the production of food packaging.
