The children facing vulnerability in Shuvakalika rural municipality have been provided food grains. The children along with their parents were provided the food grains.
The recipients were 432 children from eight wards under the ‘Partnership Project-III’ launched in collaboration with the Rural Development and Ecological Conservation Forum Nepal and the Save the Children.
Forum’s Chairperson Kalpana Rawal informed that the cereals were provided to the children to ensure their food rights and encourage them to join schools.
Vice Chairperson of the rural municipality, Dharma Shahi, said the food items were distributed to the vulnerable children upon the recommendation of ward child rights committees in line with Section 48 of Children’s Right Act, 2075.
