A team of District Directorate of National
Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP), in a drive, today realized Taka 20,000 as
fine from five shop owners for different irregularities in the town here.
The team, led by Assistant Director of the district DNCRP Mohammad Mahmudul
Hasan, conducted the drive in Chawkbazar area in the town this noon and fined
Bismillah Cosmetics Taka 5,000, Sukumar Store Taka 3,000, Cosmetic Zone Taka
5,000, Ma Store Taka 5,000 and Noor Cosmetics Taka 2,000.
The business establishments were fined for various irregularities and
violation of the Consumer Rights Protection Act-2009.
During the drive, members of the law enforcement agencies were present.
