Fisheries ministry staff to donate one-day salary to flood victims

The officials and employees of the Fisheries and

Livestock Ministry have decided to donate an amount equivalent to one day’s

salary to the flood relief fund of the Chief Adviser of the interim

government to help flood-affected people the floods in the country.

Farida Akhtar, adviser to the fisheries ministry, said this in a press

release issued here earlier.

In the release, she also urged the countrymen to come forward from their

respective positions and help the flood-affected people however they can, so

that all can overcome this critical period.
