First Phase of Handball Referees Course Concludes at National Stadium

Dhaka: The first phase of the handball referees course concluded at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital on Tuesday, as announced in a press release. The event marked a significant step in enhancing the skills of referees across various sectors.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) acting president Md Hasan Ullah Khan Rana awarded certificates to the participants as the chief guest. The course was organized by the Bangladesh Handball Referees Association (BHRA) and saw participation from a diverse group of forty trainees. These individuals hailed from different districts, divisions, and organizations such as Bangladesh Navy, Border Guard Bangladesh, and Bangladesh Police, along with several associations.



The course was conducted with the support of the Bangladesh Handball Federation. This initiative aims to improve the officiating standards in handball matches across the country. The second phase of the course is scheduled to commence on January 17, continuing the development and training of referees.
