Sajek Valley: A massive fire broke out at various resorts in the Sajek Valley, one of the most popular tourist spots in the Khagrachhari district, this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the fire originated around 1:05 pm, as reported by the Fire Service and Civil Defence. Upon receiving information, one firefighting engine arrived at the scene around 2:40 pm and is currently attempting to control the blaze.
Ten additional fire engines are on their way to the location, with two each coming from Matiranga, Longdu, Panchhari, and Lakhichharianr, and one each from Khagrachhari Sadar and Ramgar. The Fire Service mentioned that reaching the spot is challenging due to its remote location and there is also a shortage of water at the site.
