Dhaka: The final round of the Inter-Division Athletics competition, part of the Youth Festival 2025, is scheduled to be held tomorrow at Bangabandhu National Stadium. This event will witness athletes from across the nation competing for top honors in various athletic disciplines.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 240 athletes representing eight divisions will participate in the tournament. Each division will field 28 athletes, showcasing their skills and determination in the day-long event. The Bangladesh Athletics Federation (BAF) has announced that Major General Dr. Nayeem Ashfaque Chowdhury, the president of BAF, is expected to inaugurate the finals as the chief guest.
The participating athletes and officials will be accommodated at Mirpur Krirapalli in Dhaka. Additionally, travel and daily allowances will be provided to them after the competition concludes. This final event follows the Inter-District Athletics Competition, which took place in eight divisional cities from January 15 to February 2, setting the stage for tomorrow’s grand finale.
