Final Squad Announced for NCL T20 2025 Second Edition

Dhaka: All of the eight participating teams have finalized their squads for the second edition of the NCL T20 tournament, which is set to commence on October 14. This year, the tournament will be hosted across three venues: Bogura, Rajshahi, and Sylhet.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the teams have strategically placed current national players on standby due to their commitments to the Asia Cup. These players are expected to be incorporated into the teams once the Asia Cup concludes. Notably, the Under-19 players who participated in the first edition last year have been excluded this year to manage their workload effectively. The young players are scheduled for several series as part of their preparation for next year’s World Cup.



The finalized squads for the NCL T20 2025 are as follows:



Dhaka Division: The squad includes Rony Talukdar, Jisan Alam, Abdul Majid, and others, with standby players such as Faisal Ahmed Rayan and Ashiqur Rahman Shibli.



Dhaka Metro: Players like Naim Sheikh, Mahfizul Islam Robin, and Mahmudullah Riyad are featured, with Arafat Sunny and Al Amin Jr on standby.



Sylhet Division: The team comprises Zakir Hasan, Mizanur Rahman Sayem, and Mushfiqur Rahim, among others, with Toufiq Khan Tushar and Majharul Islam Majed as standby.



Barishal Division: Key players include Iftekhar Hossain Iftee and Rafsan Al Mahmud, with Saiful Islam Mohin and Islamul Ahsan Abir on standby.



Rangpur Division: Anik Sarkar Shatu and Mim Mosaddek lead the team, with Leon Islam and Arif Reza as standby.



Rajshahi Division: Najmul Hossain Shanto and Habibur Rahman Sohan are part of the squad, with Rahim Ahmed and Sujan Hawlader on standby.



Chattogram Division: The team features Sadikur Rahman and Mahmudul Hasan Joy, with Jillu Rahman Bijoy and Irfan Hossain as standby.



Khulna Division: Players like Soumya Sarkar and Anamul Haque Bijoy are included, with Shahriar Sakib and Masum Khan Tutul on standby.



The tournament promises to deliver exciting cricket action with a mix of experienced players and emerging talents.
