Dhaka: District police in a drive held former ward councilor of Feni municipality and Awami League leader Amir Hossain Bahar from capital city Dhaka today. He was accused of numerous cases filed over the attack on anti-discrimination student movement on August 4 in Mohipal.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-Charge of Feni Model Thana, Marmo Singh Tripura, stated that on information, a team of Feni Model Thana police conducted a raid at a house in the capital Dhaka in the morning and held Bahar.
