Nilphamari: A female school teacher tragically lost her life after falling from a motorcycle at the Panch Matha intersection in Nilphamari district town today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the victim, identified as 45-year-old Meher Negar Meghla, was a resident of Jadurhat village in Chapra Saramjami union under Sadar upazila. She was en route to her workplace at Sonamani KG School, located in the Jadurhat area, when the accident occurred. Meghla was traveling on her husband’s motorbike when she fell off around 9:30 am, sustaining severe injuries, as confirmed by Inspector M.R. Sayed, the officer-in-charge of Nilphamari Sadar Police Station.
After the accident, locals promptly rescued Meghla and rushed her to Nilphamari General Hospital. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the on-duty doctor pronounced her dead upon arrival, according to the police officer.
