Farmer Electrocuted While Installing Water Pump in Natore

Natore: A farmer tragically died from electrocution in Khajura village under Singra upazila of the district today. The victim, Abdul Halim, aged 38, was the son of Abul Kalam from the same village. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 am when Halim was engaged in the installation of an electric water pump.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, after the accident, Abdul Halim was immediately rushed to a local hospital. However, the on-duty doctors at the hospital declared him dead upon arrival. The incident has left the local community in shock and mourning.



Rafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Singra Police Station, confirmed the details of the unfortunate event. The police are likely to investigate further to prevent such incidents in the future, ensuring safety measures are adhered to during the installation of electrical equipment in the area.
