Dhaka: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has made a public appeal to the Adviser for Cultural Affairs and the Adviser for Law to facilitate advanced medical care for renowned Lalon Sangeet singer Farida Parveen. Parveen, celebrated for her contributions to Lalon’s spiritual folk music, is currently receiving treatment at Ayesha Memorial Hospital in the capital.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Fakhrul visited Farida Parveen at the hospital today to check on her health status. During his visit, he expressed concern regarding her current condition and emphasized the need for appropriate medical arrangements. The Secretary General urged the advisers to take necessary steps to ensure Parveen receives the best possible care.
