Fakhrul Calls for Building a Bangladesh of Equality

Thakurgaon: LGRD and Cooperatives Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called for building a Bangladesh free from discrimination. The real lesson of sacrifice is standing beside the helpless people and serving humanity, he said while talking to reporters after offering Eid prayers at Thakurgaon Central Eidgah this morning.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, he exchanged greetings with the devotees and urged the people to forget differences and take an oath to build a nation of equality. Mirza Fakhrul emphasized the importance of eliminating all inequalities and discrimination to construct a better Bangladesh.



He further explained that the concept of Qurbani is not about killing but is a symbolic lesson of sacrifice. The Eid prayers were led by Alhaj Maulana Md. Khalilur Rahman, who also delivered the sermon. A special prayer followed, aimed at the welfare of the nation.



Among those present were Thakurgaon University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Israfil Shaheen, local government officials, and BNP leaders.
