A court here today sent Kamal Abdul Naser
Chowdhury, adviser and former principal secretary of the ousted prime
minister Sheikh Hasina, to jail in a case lodged over killing of BNP activist
Mokbul in 2022.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Zakir Hossain passed the order as police
produced Naser before the court after end of his four-day remand in the case
and pleaded to keep him behind the bars.
The same court on October 2 had placed Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury on four-
day remand in the case. Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested him on the
early hours of that day.
