Former VP of Chattogram College Chhatra Sangsad and former president of Chattogram City unit of Chhatra League Zafar Ahmad died of heart related complications at his residence in Chattogram in the early hours of today.
He was 65, said a press release.
Zafar left behind his family members and a host of relatives, political fellows and admirers to mourn his death.
In a message of condolence, Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Zafar.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
