Dhaka: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has announced that starting tomorrow, all officials and employees will require official identity cards to enter the Revenue Board Building located in Agargaon, the capital. This directive aims to address security concerns that have arisen due to the increasing number of outsiders entering the building.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the NBR issued a notification today to inform all relevant parties about the new entry requirement. The measure is intended to enhance security by controlling the entry of unauthorized individuals into the Revenue Building.

The notification mandates that all NBR officials, employees, and personnel from other offices situated within the Revenue Building must use their official identity cards for entry beginning September 15. The directive was disseminated to NBR members, officials on deputation, branch heads, and other pertinent officials.

In addition, the NBR has requested cooperation from all involved parties to ensure the successful implementation of this new entry protocol.
