Syedpur: The Annual Commanders Conference-2025 of the EME Corps was held today at the EME Center and School (EMEC and S) in Syedpur Cantonment. Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman graced the occasion as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Army Chief was warmly received by several high-ranking officials upon his arrival, including the GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, the Colonel Commandant of the EME Corps and Chairman of REB, the GOC of the 66 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Rangpur Area, and the Commandant of EMEC and S.
During the conference, General Waker-uz-Zaman issued important directives focused on enhancing the capabilities of the EME Corps and the Bangladesh Army. He urged unit commanders and officers to continue their efforts toward modernization and organizational development.
The Army Chief emphasized the proud legacy and significant contributions of the EME Corps to the nation. He encouraged its members to be prepared for the challenges of the 21st century by adopting modern and advanced training methodologies. He expressed hope that each member of the Corps would set a commendable standard of service in the future.
The event saw attendance from senior military officials, including those from Army Headquarters and Rangpur Area, as well as commanders of all EME units and media representatives.
